Welcome to the official home of the Murrieta Valley High School Nighthawks Cheer Program.
More than a team, we are a community built on pride, dedication, leadership, and a relentless commitment to excellence. Whether we’re leading thousands of fans on Friday nights, competing on the national stage, or pushing ourselves to new heights in STUNT competition, Nighthawk Cheer represents Murrieta Valley with passion, integrity, and heart.
Our program offers opportunities for athletes of every experience level to grow as competitors, leaders, and teammates while creating lifelong memories and friendships.
Our Program
The Nighthawks Cheer Program is proud to offer multiple pathways for athletes to develop their skills and represent Murrieta Valley High School throughout the year.
Sideline Cheer
Our sideline program is the heartbeat of Nighthawk school spirit, energizing our campus and community while supporting Murrieta Valley athletics.
With three levels of participation (Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity), athletes have the opportunity to grow within our program:
From Friday night football under the lights to basketball season, pep rallies, assemblies, and community events, our sideline athletes are ambassadors for Murrieta Valley High School, creating an exciting game-day atmosphere while developing leadership, confidence, and teamwork.
Competitive Coed Cheer
Our nationally competitive coed program challenges athletes to perform at the highest level of the sport.
Competing against elite programs from across California and the nation, our athletes combine advanced stunting, tumbling, synchronization, and performance into routines that showcase athleticism, precision, and school pride.
Our competitive teams include Game Day and Traditional teams.
Both teams strive for excellence throughout the competition season while proudly representing the Nighthawks at regional, state, and national events.
STUNT
STUNT is one of the fastest-growing female sports in the country, focusing exclusively on the technical and athletic skills of cheer without the crowd-leading component.
Murrieta Valley proudly fields Junior Varsity and Varsity teams.
Our STUNT athletes compete head-to-head against other schools in a format that highlights partner stunts, pyramids, jumps, tumbling, and team routines, providing additional opportunities for athletes to continue developing their competitive skills.
